The fat lady has sung, and the curtain has fallen on The Perfect 7. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen, Inion N. Mathair are finally published authors. (We’ll pause for the admiration, and by admiration we mean our family’s state of shock over the fact that we actually finished something.) All you have to do now is make your way to Amazon.com and rifle through the zillion of other books to find our baby nestled safely in the fiction section or http://www.amazon.com/The-Perfect-7-ebook/dp/B00DRFR116/ref=sr_1_1_bnp_1_kin?ie=UTF8&qid=1374353651&sr=8-1&keywords=the+perfect+7+inion+n.+mathair
Those of you, (like us), that have been fortunate enough to call yourself storyteller know that the task of putting pen to paper is a labor of love that can be rather bittersweet. And, now comes the hard part, waiting to see how the world receives Kevin Yager. He may not be everyone’s idea of a leading man, some may not even like him, but once you’ve read The Perfect 7, you have to admit that his unorthodox voice and unconventional methods can be addictive until you find yourself rooting for the little delinquent.
But, let’s not forget that this is an ensemble cast of unique, quirky characters and that Kevin wouldn’t be the same if it weren’t for his best friends and band mates, Sam, Roth, Ivers and Lane, who bring their own flavor to an already toothsome tale.
Filled with witty banter and crude humor, The Perfect 7 is geared towards a male audience, but will also give female readers a peek into the mind of a teenage boy who is thrown into a hidden world of decadence and evil. In a first person narrative, Kevin’s authentic perspective and flawed nature is relatable and captivating. We hope that our unlikely hero will be a ‘stand-out’ voice in the literary world and rekindle a love of reading for young men, and the story he tells will give a whole new meaning to ‘sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll’.
Since starting this journey we’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful writers and have made some incredible friends along the way. It means so much to us to be able to share this milestone in our career with those we count as just that, friends. As for those of you who’ve been such an intricate part of Inion N. Mathair’s online venture, we thank you for your guidance, but most of all your kindness to two women who didn’t have the first clue how to initiate the dream.
We also wanted to let everyone know to head on over to Lafemme Roar’s website: http://lafemmeroar.wordpress.com/ and check out our very first interview http://lafemmeroar.wordpress.com/2013/07/14/crazy-chick-q-a-30-2/ and hopefully the beginning of many. It was an honor to be interviewed by the Crazy Chick herself and absolutely befitting as we are certified and proud members of the Crazy Chicks Club. While you’re there, play around Lafemme’s site; you will not be disappointed. Her posts are smart, funny and will always bring a smile to your face, crazy chick and crazy guy alike.
And, don’t forget to get your copy of The Perfect 7. “When heaven has laid your fate and hell is all you’ve got, what choice will you make? Free will, ain’t it a bitch!”
Champagne and toasts! Congratulations… Thanks for following my blog, http://thefinalcurtain1.wordpress.com – My very best wishes.
Time to toast indeed friend & thx for stopping by to help us celebrate this labor of love!
Thanks for following Cold, Inion. Your blog is lovely.
Thanks for the follow, as well Victoria. It truly is an honor. And, we love your blog too. Especially the tagline for it. Cold The way revenge is best served; the way a war was fought; the way a story should be told. Brilliant!
Well, I am slow… Congratulations to you both – what a huge effort! Good on you for focusing, finishing and getting it out there 🙂 I’m off to see your interview…
That’s okay Alarna. We completely understand. Though we’ve published The Perfect 7, we are readying another novel and a shorty story compilation for fall publications, *Fingers Crossed* so we’re juggling networking and writing. The novel’s YA paranormal romance from one of our other series and the short stories we’re hoping for a Halloween release. Thank you so much for all of your support. You have been so good to us. Thank you, dear.
***Short story*** as opposed to shorty stories which is are gangster version. LOL. Sorry, no more writing for me, my fingers must be going AWOL. 🙂
I love the premise of your novel. Congratulations.
Congratulations on the book release! Very exciting. It’s always a thrill to see one’s hard work come to fruition. Good luck with it!
Thank you so much, Carrie. It’s very surreal to see our boys readily and available for others to see. We just hope they’re embraced and loved as much as we love them. They’re a little rough around the edges… okay, really rough, but very endearing. Thank you for the support! 🙂
Congratulations!!! So awesome, wishing you all the best. 🙂
Thank you so much, Coleen. It is so good to hear that from you as we count you a true friend and an inspiration.
Consider yourselves being duly and deservedly admired 😀
How flattering. Thank you so much. 🙂
Welcome 😀
Congratulations! This is SO exciting!!! 🙂 Can’t wait to read it. I like your intriguing description. Of late, I’ve mostly read books from the female protagonist’s perspective, so this one will be an interesting change. I look forward to it.
Good luck with the launch and if you are interested in another interview — I’ve never done one on my blog, but I would be happy to. No worries if mine is not the right blog (I don’t have that many followers) but wanted to offer 🙂
Arlene, you have been by far the most supportive and loyal of our friends, and we can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done for us. We’d be honored to be interviewed by you, it’s exactly what we need at this time, just email us some questions and we’ll be sure to get them back to you. Again, we are humbled by your offer and greatly appreciate your faith in us.
Congratulations on becoming published authors.
Thank you, Patsy. It’s an unbelievable feeling and such a relief to finally share Kevin Yager and his story with the world.
You ladies are awesome. Congrats on the publishing and the interview.
Thank you, Jennifer. You’ve been such a good friend to us, and we greatly appreciate your support.
